We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for assisting senior staff with engineering design, monitoring industry standards, and managing project financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior staff with engineering design on various projects
- Monitor industry standards and developments, assessing client needs and making decisions on proposed solutions
- Monitor project financial performance and invoice clients promptly
- Be a resource for municipal roadway design standards for internal teams and disciplines
- Participate in the preparation of engineering services proposals
- Prepare technical designs, specifications, and reports for municipal projects
- Maintain control of the schedule to ensure timely delivery
- Advance projects through concept, design, and construction phases, managing existing clients and developing new ones
- Design and design assistance and support to other project managers on project delivery
- Liaise with clients, government, and regulatory bodies, as well as contractors
- Maintain positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
