Job Description

The Logistics Associate - Product Flow Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that products are efficiently transported from the warehouse to the sales floor. This position involves lifting and carrying merchandise items, as well as operating computer and scanning devices for inventory tracking.



Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  1. Maintain housekeeping disciplines in the warehouse and sales floor to facilitate product location.
  2. Respond to customer and staff inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
  3. Locate products in the warehouse and guide customers to their requested items.
  4. Operate computer and scanning devices for inventory tracking and enter relevant coding into Canadian Tire systems.
  5. Keep up to date with in-store promotions, deals, and product locations.
  6. Stock shelves and merchandise display areas with correct merchandise and secure heavy display items.
  7. Maintain inventory accuracy and identify/report low stock levels.
  8. Ensure product and overstock are placed in the appropriate locations and remove stock belonging to other locations.
  9. Report stolen and damaged goods to Management.
  10. Assist in pricing and verifying price labels as needed and organize warehouse as required.
  11. Dispose of shipping boxes, trash, and complete daily paperwork.
  12. Comply with company, store, department, and warehouse policies, and adhere to health and safety programs and regulations.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Able to follow direction and coaching.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Aptitude with computer technology/locating systems.
  • Aptitude for online learning.
  • Ability to work in other areas of the store.
