About the Role:

The Logistics Associate is a key member of the Canadian Tire team, responsible for ensuring the efficient transportation of products from the warehouse to the sales floor. This role involves lifting and carrying merchandise items, as well as maintaining housekeeping disciplines in the warehouse and sales floor.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and identifying/reports low stock levels
  • Locating products in the warehouse and guiding customers to the location of requested items
  • Operating computer and scanning devices for tracking inventory and entering all relevant coding in Canadian Tire systems
  • Stocking shelves and merchandise display areas neatly with correct merchandise
  • Securing heavy display items and removing stock belonging to a different location

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow direction and coaching
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Aptitude with computer technology/locating systems
  • Aptitude for online learning
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to challenging situations

Working Conditions:

In compliance with the store's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, this role requires standing/walking for 8 hours, using lift equipment, lifting and/or carrying merchandise items, and working in a fast-paced environment.
