Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Chief Enterprise Technologist to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving platform standardization and modernization through the development and deployment of enterprise-enabling technologies, such as Billing, ERP, HR, Legal, and Integration Platforms.
The ideal candidate will be a thought-leader with expertise in systems design, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They must possess the ability to manage cross-functional teams, build successful relationships with senior stakeholders, and drive business value realization while rationalizing and simplifying IT systems. Strong communication and presentation skills, along with executive presence, are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Corporate Platforms team, responsible for software asset development and maintenance.
- Buildead and nurture a high-performing team of analysts and developers.
- Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes partnership with business stakeholders.
- Position Enercare to meet customer needs by driving platform standardization and modernization.
- Select and deploy key enterprise-enabling technologies, including Billing, ERP, HR, Legal, and Integration Platforms.
- Act as a thought-leader on digital business and operating challenges.
- Influence the organization to seek opportunities for simplification and business process efficiency.
- Define and implement a roadmap enabling business value realization while rationalizing and simplifying IT systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and build teams that deliver exceptional results.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a cross-functional environment and build successful relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in systems design, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong bias for action, achieving near-term imperatives.
- Able to understand change impacts and advise functional and technical teams accordingly.
- Advanced proficiency in written and oral communications, inclusive of developing rapport and credibility across the organization.
- Knowledge of digital strategy, planning, budgeting, and financial management processes.
- Experience in creating and executing analytics strategies, preferably with enterprise-wide deployments.
