Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Professor to teach a course on microcontroller technologies at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the subject matter and be able to deliver high-quality instruction to students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a course on microcontroller technologies, including interfacing techniques, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversions, sensor and actuator modeling, and dynamic systems modeling and simulation.
  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in a field related to the course, or relevant work experience in a field related to the course.
  • Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
