About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at Little Footprints Academy (Peace Arch) Inc. As an integral part of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges faced by children.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Legal ability to work in Canada
  • Proximity to the advertised location
