About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Prestige Lakeside Resort Nelson. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
