Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Content team at RBC Capital Market Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting data requirements, identifying data gaps, and supporting the registration, ingestion, and consumption of datasets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead meetings with senior stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
  • Prepare business specifications and mapping documents
  • Analyze requirements, identify gaps, and propose sourcing and delivery strategies
  • Support the dataset ingestion, classification, registration, and consumption processes
  • Participate in intake forums for Data Fabric and DCM requests
  • Support data consumption strategies by creating queries and views based on consumer requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or engineering
  • Business analysts/data modelers/analyst experience
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Exposure to data analytics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cross-asset experience in cash and derivative products, commodities, equities, etc.
  • Good understanding of trade lifecycle and front-to-back functions
  • Postgraduate certification
  • Data modeling experience
  • Proficiency in Fmpl, Fix, React, JSON, and Java
