Job Description

Emburse software engineers play a crucial role in developing innovative and interconnected system solutions. As a senior engineer, you will enhance the user experience, solve complex challenges, and design new solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of software solutions using Python, JavaScript, and AWS.
  • Design and build JSON or REST services and APIs.
  • Work with 3rd party APIs, workflow, and integration architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive requirements and technical testing.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Identify and address technical debt, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Develop complex features and tackle difficult defects.
  • Provide technical advice and influence decision-making across teams.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of software development experience, preferably with lead position experience.
  • Strong experience with Python application development (preferably Django), JavaScript, and AWS.
  • Experience working in OS X and Linux environments.
  • Experience designing and building JSON or REST services and APIs.
  • Experience working with 3rd party APIs, workflow, and integration architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with financial institution integrations and financial technology.
