Manufacturing Team Lead Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting production schedules.

Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Team Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily production activities to ensure quality standards and production schedules are met.
  • Servicing as a point of contact for operators and supervisors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensuring all necessary supplies are available to maintain optimal production efficiency.
  • Verifying adherence to quality alert requirements and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Monitoring operator performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams, including Materials, Maintenance, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering, to optimize production outcomes.
  • Providing training and coaching to operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience as a team leader in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an assembly operator.
  • Previous experience working in an Automotive Manufacturing setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
