Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Manage Records and Reports: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills.
