We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A&W. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills: Excellent cooking skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
