Job Title: Executive Chef

Ustaad G 76 Abbotsford is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
  • Coordinate special events and functions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Develop and implement new recipes, menu items, and cooking techniques to enhance the culinary experience
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Proven track record of menu planning, execution, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
