Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Developer to join our team at the KPMG Gen AI Innovation Delivery Centre. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Generative AI technology and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software developers to design, build, and deploy applications
  • Automate the build, test, and deployment process using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Manage and maintain version control systems, including Git
  • Set up and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Monitor and manage the performance and availability of systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during the development and deployment process
  • Work with cloud computing platforms, including Microsoft Azure
  • Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker
  • Provide technical support for application deployments and issues in production environments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in DevOps
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience implementing DevOps solutions
  • Experience with automation tools, including Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, or Python
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including Azure
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, including Terraform
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and analysis to non-technical stakeholders
  • High degree of motivation and enthusiasm for a variety of challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent academic record expected
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • University degree in a field such as computer science, science, or engineering
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creativity in problem-solving
  • Fluency in French is required; English is optional
