About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coding: Develop and maintain complex software systems, including cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Debugging/Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of solutions.
  • Requirement Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical requirements.
  • Design: Design and implement proof-of-concepts for medium to large initiatives, including prototypes and technical solutions.
  • Monitoring/Support: Provide technical support and guidance to development teams, including monitoring and troubleshooting software systems.
  • Deployment: Research and propose solutions for automation of deployments, including cloud-based infrastructure and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation.
  • Expertise in AWS and cloud technologies, including CICD process and tools such as Git, GitHub, Terraform, and Jenkins.
  • Experience in Snowflake and Databricks is an asset.
  • Certifications in AWS, Jenkins, and Terraform are an asset.
  • Knowledge of ITSM and SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, SDLC, SCRUM, and Kanban.
