About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our e-Com team at Beiersdorf AG. As a key member of our global legal team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-class legal advice to our international sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate international agreements with vendors, customers, and partners, including sales, distribution, and service agreements.
  • Provide legal expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on operational, regulatory, and commercial matters related to sales and distribution.
  • Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory developments in distribution, trade, and import/export, and support business teams in understanding and complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and steer cooperation with external lawyers, and build cross-team relationships across a highly matrixed international organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing templates, processes, and procedures, and develop and implement strategies to scale and standardize the use of legal resources.
Requirements
  • University degree in law with profound legal skills in Sales, eCommerce, social commerce, and Distribution law.
  • Experience with regulations such as national commercial codes, trade customs, customary commercial law, and UN sales law.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, and advising on sales and distribution law, trade, and related technology solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders as in-house counsel in an international matrixed organization, with e-commerce experience.
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
