About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team at Level Contracting Inc. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Supervise other workers

Requirements:

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and outdoors
