Salary

The salary for this role is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cook with a passion for culinary arts to lead our kitchen team. As a Culinary Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Managing kitchen operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality food products.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
