Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train sales staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure staff are aware of their duties.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or retail management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
Work Environment:

The Sales Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling heavy loads and working at a desk for extended periods. The ability to distinguish between colours and manual dexterity are essential for this role.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The Sales Supervisor will work 35 hours per week.
