Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Big Bee Convenience and Food Mart. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and leadership, with the ability to motivate and guide our sales team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff

The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for supervising and training our sales staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.

Assign Sales Workers to Duties

The Sales Team Lead will assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed and that customers receive the best possible service.

Authorize Payments and Merchandise

The Sales Team Lead will authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise, ensuring that the store has the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Establish Work Schedules

The Sales Team Lead will establish work schedules, ensuring that the store is open and staffed at all times.

Sell Merchandise and Resolve Issues

The Sales Team Lead will sell merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.

Organize and Maintain Inventory

The Sales Team Lead will organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that the store has the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities

The Sales Team Lead will supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, ensuring that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.

Oversee Payroll Administration

The Sales Team Lead will oversee payroll administration, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.

Conduct Performance Reviews

The Sales Team Lead will conduct performance reviews, ensuring that employees are meeting their performance targets and providing feedback for improvement.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience, or equivalent experience.

Personal Suitability

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, efficient oral communication, flexibility, and the ability to multitask.
