Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

At Alberta Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Document Software Testing Plans: Create comprehensive testing plans to ensure our software applications meet the required standards.
  • Monitor System Performance: Regularly monitor the performance of our computer systems and networks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Install and Configure Software and Hardware: Install and configure software and hardware in preparation for testing, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Execute and Document Test Results: Execute software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests, documenting results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and Implement Testing Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
