Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and maintain testing strategies and plans to ensure software quality
  • Identify and report defects and provide recommendations for resolution

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
