Child Care Assistant Centre Director- Acting/Contract

At BrightPath Kids Canada, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Centre Director to join our team at our Airdrie, AB centre. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in the overall operation of the centre, including staff recruitment and development, policy management, child safety, and environmental health and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Centre Director in managing the centre's operations, including staff management, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities within the centre.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable, and general communications.
  • Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members.
  • Provide effective communication with parents and guardians about their child's progress.

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education, (CDS) - Level 3 certificate
  • Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations
  • Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
  • Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate
