Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our commercial construction projects in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate daily construction operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.
- Prepare and submit detailed project budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and other project-related documentation.
- Process progress billings and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Reconcile and finalize project payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Lead meetings with trade subcontractors and superintendents to discuss progress, obstacles, and solutions.
- Establish and support deficiency review processes, ensuring quality control and continuous improvement.
- Finalize project closeout, including conducting post-project reviews and monitoring cash allowances and contingencies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering commercial construction projects.
- Proven experience managing projects in the $1-5M range, with a focus on profitability and consistent results.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and ability to implement onsite.
- Exceptional computer skills, including experience with relevant scheduling, planning, and cost control software.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, such as construction management or engineering.
