Job Title: Distribution Logistics Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Distribution Logistics Specialist to join our team at Muskoka Brewery in Bracebridge, Ontario. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless distribution of our products to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily delivery routes and schedules with the Supply Chain Manager, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Lead to manage inventory levels, receive shipments, and ensure accurate loading of products onto vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external carriers, co-packers, and other stakeholders to optimize logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory levels using business software such as Business Central.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to develop and execute strategic plans to improve supply chain operations and drive business growth.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the success of the Supply Chain department.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or logistics management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with business software, such as Microsoft Office and Business Central, is an asset.
