Job Opportunity

Rocky View Schools is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker I to join our team on an on-call, casual basis. As a Caretaker I, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools in the Chestermere Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
  • Keep assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
  • Conduct building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
  • Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
What We Offer
