Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Montano Plumbing & Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various construction settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Assist skilled tradespersons
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems
