Job Summary:

The Construction Trades Helper will assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with tasks as directed
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions:
