Retail Store Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team at DL Pharmacy Incorporated. As a key member of our retail store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and tasks to ensure efficient store operations.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the store.
- Authorize payments, returns, and other financial transactions.
- Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff.
- Manage cash handling and other financial responsibilities.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a retail store environment.
The work language is English.
