Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Phoenix Automotive Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and repair problems with truck systems, including mechanical units, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems.
  • Inspect and Test Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and automotive systems.
  • Communicate with Supervisor: Collaborate with your supervisor to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer top-notch customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Share your knowledge and expertise with apprentices, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week
