At PHOENIX AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, and confirming findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our supervisor to discuss work and ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Review work orders
  • Road test motor vehicles
  • Test automotive systems and components
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language
  • 32 hours per week
