About the Role:
The Technical Manager is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing on-time aircraft services, minimizing downtime, and maximizing aircraft usability and marketability. This role requires a strong focus on customer relationships and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance activities for assigned aircraft, ensuring planning, service, and repair in accordance with airworthiness standards.
- Review, update, and ensure the accuracy of maintenance tracking systems.
- Dispatch aircraft and control defects, conformity with type and CAR's.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate effective service for assigned aircraft.
- Respond to urgent requests for support and/or information from owner-clients and other stakeholders.
- Inspect aircraft for technical and cosmetic conditions, interacting with owner-clients as necessary.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Aviation.
- Ten years of maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of regulations pertaining to repair station operations.
- Licensed AME-M2.
- Working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, including mechanical, structural, and avionic systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to maintain teamwork while working in stressful situations.
- Highly organized and driven to project completion on tight deadlines.
- Customer service-focused, able to operate effectively with both internal and external customers/clients, demonstrating strong communication and empathy.
- Problem-solving skills with a process improvement approach.
- Strong knowledge and ability to follow and apply rigorous health and safety requirements.
