Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team at Trinity Western University. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll transactions and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries
  • Implement best practices and streamline payroll processes
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in payroll management
Requirements
  • PA designation or equivalent certification in payroll management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll operations, with a strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations
  • Experience in a higher education or non-profit setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
