We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at REX Beauty Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and negotiating prices and discounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Management: Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays and customer experience.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  • Market Analysis: Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Skills: Database software, spreadsheet, internet, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods is required.
