Nursing Community Leader Position

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to lead our Neighborhood Health Team, providing hands-on care and training to caregivers while building relationships with clients in the community.
Job Overview:
- This is a full-time position that requires regular home visits within the community.
- You will be responsible for guiding a team of caregivers, providing direct client care, and promoting innovative approaches to home care.
- You will also have opportunities to engage in community outreach, build partnerships, and promote our services.
Responsibilities:
- SUPERVISE AND SUPPORT CAREGIVERS: Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered to clients.
- AUDIT AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.
- VISIT CLIENTS AND STAFF: Regularly visit clients and staff in their homes, providing hands-on care and training as needed.
- COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Engage in community outreach activities to build partnerships and promote our services.
Requirements:
- GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROVINCIAL NURSING PROGRAM
- CURRENT REGISTRATION IN GOOD STANDING WITH A VALID CPR CERTIFICATION
- 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN COMMUNITY NURSING WITH PROGRESSIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITY TO HANDLE DIFFICULT SITUATIONS OBJECTIVELY
- ABOVE-AVERAGE REPORT WRITING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
What We Offer:
- COMPETITIVE SALARY: $85,000 - $110,000 per year (dependent on experience)
