About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team at A. K. Nursery Ltd. as a Nursery Labourer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and care of plants, trees, and shrubs in our nursery and greenhouse environments.
  • Perform tasks such as weeding, pruning, and applying fertilizers and insecticides as required.
  • Help with the preparation and maintenance of soil, including mixing and applying fertilizers and other treatments.
  • Assist with the planting and transplanting of seedlings and rooted cuttings.
  • Report any signs of insect or disease damage to the relevant staff members.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Work Environment and Conditions

The successful candidate will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, with some repetitive tasks and physically demanding activities.

Requirements
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • English language proficiency.
