Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at IHAUL Trucking. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often crossing state lines
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate inventory and handling
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will spend most of your time on the road, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
