Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Target Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, driving for extended periods of time. You will be required to work independently and make decisions based on your own judgment.
