Job Title: Air Conditioning and Heating Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Heating Mechanic to join our team at Heat Tech Mechanical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and overhaul heating systems
  • Install refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot heating and cooling systems
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Provide customer service
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Perform maintenance such as recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
  • Interpret gas codes
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
Requirements:
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
