Job Title: Air Conditioning and Heating Mechanic

Heat Tech Mechanical is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Heating Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and overhaul heating systems
  • Install refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot heating and air conditioning systems
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Provide customer service
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems
Requirements:
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Experience with HVAC systems and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment
