Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at JUSTKIDS PRESCHOOL INC. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes leading activities, telling stories, teaching songs, and taking children on local outings. You will also assist in keeping records, encouraging creativity, and guiding children in developing proper habits.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the overall development of children
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, socialization, and learning
  • Assist in keeping records and preparing reports for parents and guardians
  • Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art and play
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to support children's development
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent certificate or diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
