Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at Thind Transport Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, while ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate with customers to resolve any issues.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Flexibility, judgment, and reliability.
