Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Parkdale. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
  • Educate clients on topics such as pacing, pain, cognitive behavioral strategies, and task modification strategies to improve function
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians, and psychologists
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Support return to work programs
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Accepting new graduates licensed
  • 1-5 years of experience required
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, mental health, and/or neurological conditions
  • Ability to be autonomous, working both independently and as part of the team
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
