Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Financial Specialist to join our team at Michael Gao Inc. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying clients' financial goals and objectives, planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, training staff, analyzing clients' financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control, preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, developing financial plans for clients, preparing financial statements and reports, preparing income tax returns from accounting records, reviewing and examining financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation, analyzing financial documents and reports, examining accounting records, providing financial, business, and tax advice, keeping financial records, and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clients: Identify clients' financial goals and objectives, plan, set up, and administer accounting systems, train staff, analyze clients' financial records, ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control, prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, develop financial plans for clients, prepare financial statements and reports, prepare income tax returns from accounting records.
  • Financial Services: Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation, analyze financial documents and reports, examine accounting records, provide financial, business, and tax advice.
  • Accounting Systems: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems, train staff, keep financial records, establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
