Job Title: Software Engineering Group Manager

CitiGroup, a leading global bank, is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Group Manager to join our team. As a senior management level position, this role is responsible for managing a team or department, establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality applications and systems.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve software development processes and methodologies.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  4. Ensure that all software development projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and implement new technologies and methodologies as needed.
  7. Ensure that all software development projects are aligned with CitiGroup's overall business strategy and objectives.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in web applications, enterprise integration, and data analytics.
  2. Deep expertise in building web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, and Oracle/PostgreSQL technology stack.
  3. Expertise in enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs, Kafka messaging, etc.
  4. Expertise in Elastic Search, NoSQL databases, and Caching solutions.
  5. Expertise in designing and optimizing software solutions for performance and stability.
  6. Expertise in site reliability engineering.
  7. Expertise in Authentication, Authorization, and Security.
  8. Familiarity with AWS cloud and preparation to migrate applications, services, and data to AWS.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
