Job Title: Water Meter Installer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Water Meter Installer to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Water Meter Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining water meters at various job sites throughout Southern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain water meters at customer locations
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water meters
  • Travel to job sites throughout Southern Ontario
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Water Meter Installer license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Own vehicle (reliable and insured)
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Work Environment:

As a Water Meter Installer, you will be working outdoors in various weather conditions, including inclement weather. You will also be required to enter customers' homes with proper PPE. You must be willing to work at heights of 20+ feet and enter confined spaces (after training).

Compensation:

This is a contract position, and the ideal candidate will have their own HST number. All applicants must be fully vaccinated and adhere to our Covid-19 policy.
