Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Worker to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Recreation Worker, you will be responsible for providing activities to enhance the holistic care of clients/patients/residents quality of life (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cultural).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recreational programs to meet the diverse needs of clients/patients/residents
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
  • Provide support and guidance to clients/patients/residents to promote independence and self-esteem
  • Assist with daily living activities and provide emotional support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • One (1) year experience in healthcare
  • Grade 12 education
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work with special needs clients/patients/residents
