Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at ACS General Services Ltd. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Housekeeping: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Requirements: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
