Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at ACS General Services Ltd. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Stock linen closets.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on facilities.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Mend clothing and linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Initiative and ability to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Judgement and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Organized and reliable.
  • Team player with excellent client focus.
