Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and identify strategies to optimize business operations and services
  • Define business requirements to inform technology build and operations
  • Source and analyze relevant data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Assess the efficiency and performance of technology to deliver expected business results
  • Identify and analyze malfunctions, system workflow, and troubleshoot issues raised by business
Qualifications:
  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
  • Proficiency with Unix shell scripting and expertise with SQL preferably with Oracle
  • Experience working in Capital Market or Financial industry
  • Experience in Reporting frameworks like BIRT/Business Objects/Crystal reports or similar
  • Experience with scheduling tools like autosys/control-m or equivalent
  • Experience with FX cash or FX options
  • Experience working with Murex/WallStreet or similar trading applications
  • Ability to work in dynamic fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Business architecture frameworks

What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $74,800.00 - $138,600.00
  • Salaried pay type
